Austria Trend takes over new hotel near Schönbrunn

Our colleagues at Austria Trend Hotels welcomed the “Courtyard by Marriott Vienna Schoenbrunn” to the fold at the beginning of December.

The 4* city hotel near the most popular tourist sight in Vienna, at the Schönbrunner Schlossstraße 38-40, offers 118 rooms, four modern meeting and conference rooms and the in-house restaurant La Corte. 4x AccorHotels in the new Dragon City in Seoul

The hotel complex “Seoul Dragon City” is set to become a new landmark in the South Korean capital of Seoul. Four hotel brands under AccorHotels will move in here, with a total of 1,700 rooms. Over an area of 18,500 square meters, the new complex in the Yongsan district will soon house the Grand Mercure Ambassador Seoul Yongsan, the Novotel Suites Ambassador, the Novotel Seoul Yongsan and the ibis Styles Ambassador Seoul Yongsan.

But the highlight is the four-story “Sky Bridge”, 150 meters tall. This entertainment complex connects the top floors (31 through 34) of the ibis Styles Ambassador with the Grand Mercure Ambassador and will literally offer entertainment “at the highest level”.

The “Sky Beach” on the rooftop, with an area of about 1,000 square meters, offers a summery vacation vibe amidst the urban landscape of Seoul. In addition to the unusually large sand beach, guests can also enjoy an open-air pool from which they can look out over the city. The first Park Hyatt Hotel in Thailand has opened in the Ploenchit district, Bangkok’s business district.

The latest “Park Hyatt” brand hotel can now be found where the British ambassador once held garden receptions for the King of Thailand: Near Lumpini Park, the city’s green oasis, guests can escape the bustling metropolis in the lush, tropical garden, exclusive spa or 40-meter-long infinity pool. This 27-floor building, with 222 rooms, 32 suites and a truly distinctive aluminum facade, was constructed in the shape of a three-dimensional figure of eight, considered a lucky number in Chinese culture, and seems to fuse together with the neighboring “Central Embassy Shopping Mall.” On the top three floors, guests will also find the impressive “Penthouse Grill & Bar” inviting guests to enjoy a relaxed business dinner.

The new Hilton Hotel is part of the ExpoForum site in St. Petersburg, where more than 400 conferences, shows, corporate and sporting events take place every year. Pullman Hotels with a “Business Playground”

The new “Business Playground” meeting concept has just been introduced in the Pullmann Berlin Schweizerhof. Here, meetings are held around poker tables, for example.

After the successful introduction of “Business Playgrounds” in Pullman London St. Pancras, Pullman Paris Montparnasse and Pullman Tour Eiffel, the new meeting concept developed by the Pullman Hotels & Resorts brand is now represented in Germany for the first time with the Pullman Berlin Schweizerhof. Central features of the meeting and conference spaces, which were conceptualised in collaboration with celebrity designer Mathieu Lehanneur, are the “Business Playground Welcomer”, the “Poker Table” and the “Canopy Break Zone”.

The central element in the space is the “Poker Table”, the actual worktable with its cupped “Tool Boxes”, which can be individually filled with office supplies or other tools required for the meeting.
