A twice-weekly service to Shenzhen – a free trade zone near Hong Kong – will be added to the schedules on 20 October 2018.

Hainan Airlines is coming to Austria for the first time: the Chinese carrier will add a twice-weekly service from Vienna to Shenzhen (Tue, Sat) to the schedules on 20 October 2018. This free trade zone is located on the southern tip of the Chinese mainland, a short distance from Hong Kong. Thanks to its status it is the fastest growing area in the world. Shenzhen is particularly popular as a destination for shopping tourism. The area includes several large theme parks, nature reserves, historic attractions and the largest golf course in China. Hainan Airlines’ flight network serves more than 100 destinations in Asia (around 50 of which are in China), Australia, Europe and North America.
