Visa updates for India and Kazakhstan

Starting January 1, Austrians no longer need visas for Kazakhstan. Fingerprints will be required in the future for entry in India. Here is the precise procedure: Commencing January 1, 2017, the consulate requires that all travelers to India personally submit fingerprint data to the BLS International Agency in Vienna, which will then be valid for five years. Because of this, our visa support team can no longer handle the initial application for an Indian visa on your behalf. However, we can organize the collection of the passport (plus any fees) after the visa has been issued. We need authorization and the passport receipt from each traveler to do this.

You will need to make a prior appointment with the BLS International Agency to make your visa application and submit your fingerprint data. Address: 17 Hegelgasse, 1010 Vienna, Tel: 01/94372-72, info@blsindiavisa.com

This procedure is only necessary for your first trip to India. Our visa service can provide you with the usual support for all subsequent trips (visaaustria@ax-travel.at).
