British Airways changes in-flight catering

The free on-board service currently offered on British Airways short-haul routes will be replaced from January 2017 by the new “M&S Menu.”

From January 11, 2017, British Airways will be offering exclusive food from the British brand Marks & Spencer on all short-haul flights to and from London Heathrow and London Gatwick. This replaces the free service still currently provided in Euro Traveller and Economy cabins and on domestic flights within the United Kingdom. Passengers can pay for food and drink on board either using Avios (Executive members) or debit/credit cards. Bookings in Club Europe, Business or on long-haul flights are not affected, and these customers will continue to be served free food and drinks.
