airberlin: New restaurant service

Superior cuisine from top Berlin restaurants – a world first served onboard by airberlin. With the new joint premium service ‘airgusto,’ passengers booking a long-haul flight from Berlin in Economy Class can preorder their preferred meal online from selected Berlin restaurants. The menus are currently being served on flights from Berlin to New York, Chicago, Miami, Abu Dhabi and Punta Cana. In order to place an order on www.ifleat.com or via the free iFleat app up to 12 hours before departure, it is necessary to enter the reservation number. The menus cost between €19 and €37 for several courses, and are supplied by famous Berlin restaurants such as Chupenga or Umami. airberlin intends to roll out the service onto other destinations and flights. Separately from this, airberlin continues to offer a full-service product on long-haul flights and, depending on the length of flight, serves its guests up to two hot meals plus hot and cold drinks.
